Max Power Mining Corp. holds a special shareholder meeting today, August 20, 2026. Disinterested shareholders will decide whether to approve strategic investor Eric Sprott as a control person.

The vote follows a $10 million strategic non-brokered private placement from Sprott. This investment closed on August 17.

Max Power will use the capital for commercial validation drilling at the Lawson Complex natural hydrogen project. Sprott currently holds approximately 19.5% of the company's shares on a non-diluted basis.

The outcome will define Sprott's long-term strategic role and his ability to exercise a full warrant position.
