Medtronic introduced Touch Surgery Aide, an AI-native surgical computing platform. The system enables real-time artificial intelligence during procedures and integrates with the existing Touch Surgery ecosystem.
The platform utilizes NVIDIA infrastructure to provide surgeons with real-time decision support. Medtronic secured FDA clearance for the first application, the Instrument Exit Point (IEP).
Detailed presentations will occur at the Society of Robotic Surgery (SRS) 2026 Annual Meeting in Florida from July 23-26. This launch supports Medtronic’s expansion within the robotic-assisted surgery market.
