Marvell Technology (MRVL) shares surged approximately 11% after the company expanded its AI memory infrastructure portfolio. The new products aim to eliminate memory bottlenecks in large-scale AI inference by decoupling memory scaling from computing resources.
The company introduced the Bravera SC6 PCIe 6.0 SSD controller, which delivers double the performance of its predecessor. Marvell also debuted the Photonic Fabric platform, an optical interconnect designed to create shared memory pools across server racks.
These innovations build on existing Structera CXL memory expansion technology. The suite targets improved efficiency and performance for cloud providers.
