Microsoft and Nvidia launched the Surface Laptop Ultra at the Computex event in Taipei. The flagship device uses Nvidia’s new RTX Spark superchip designed for premium ARM-based Windows hardware. Microsoft labeled the device its most powerful Surface Laptop ever built. The hardware features a mini-LED touchscreen and enhanced haptic feedback.

The RTX Spark chip provides up to 1 petaflop of AI performance. This architecture brings the full NVIDIA AI and RTX graphics stack to Windows on ARM devices.

Dell, HP, Lenovo, and ASUS will also release RTX Spark-powered PCs this fall. These manufacturers aim to initiate a new era of personal AI computing.
