Users report failures in sending and receiving emails alongside account authentication errors. The problem originates within the Exchange Online service, a key cloud infrastructure component for business clients.
Outage tracker Downdetector recorded tens of thousands of reports from affected users. Microsoft identified a faulty authentication component and is currently testing a service fix.
