Microsoft merges its consumer and commercial Copilot applications into a single platform. The rollout begins on mobile and web platforms in mid-August. A desktop version will follow the initial release.
For commercial users, the changes are mostly cosmetic. Microsoft renames the Microsoft 365 Copilot app to Microsoft Copilot. This consolidation establishes the structural foundation for a future Super App envisioned by CEO Satya Nadella.
