Nscale is investing €695 million to expand its Microsoft partnership in Sines, Portugal. The capital will fund new infrastructure at the Start Campus data center site. This investment aims to meet surging demand for AI and cloud services across Europe. The site will host over 66,000 Nvidia Rubin GPUs starting in late 2027. This project marks one of the largest deployments of next-generation Nvidia hardware in the EU. The deal builds on a previous installation of Nvidia Blackwell GPUs at the Sines location. Nscale and Microsoft are also collaborating on data center projects in the US, UK, and Norway.
