Cloudflare launched Cloudflare Wallets and cloudflare.pay to provide artificial intelligence agents with verifiable identities and purchasing power. The initiative establishes trust in online commerce by helping businesses distinguish legitimate autonomous agents from malicious bots.
The system assigns each account a unique web address that functions as a stable ID for specific AI agents. Users fund an Account Wallet with stablecoins to issue Virtual Wallets to their agents.
These virtual wallets include programmable controls for spending caps, merchant whitelists, and maximum transaction sizes. Handle reservations are now open, with full functionality expected in the coming months.
