Netflix paid $587 million in cash to acquire InterPositive, an AI startup founded by Ben Affleck.
The company disclosed the March transaction in a Form 10-Q filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Affleck founded the stealth-mode startup in 2022 to develop AI tools that keep filmmakers at the center of the process.
The deal brings InterPositive’s 16-person team of engineers, researchers, and creatives to Netflix.
The confirmed price closely matches the previously reported potential $600 million deal value.
