Nokia Oyj will rejoin the Euro Stoxx 50 index on September 21, 2026. The Finnish telecommunications firm returns to the benchmark just one year after its removal.

Nokia's stock price more than doubled over the past 12 months. This growth follows a strategic shift toward supplying fiber-optic equipment for AI data centers and cloud infrastructure.

Nokia replaces Volkswagen AG, whose shares fell nearly 27% this year amid restructuring and competition. French utility Engie also joins the index, while Dutch firm Wolters Kluwer exits. These changes trigger automatic buying from passive funds tracking the benchmark.
