Northern Star Resources (ASX: NST) reported a record statutory net profit after tax of A$1.7 billion for the 2026 fiscal year. This result represents a 24% increase from the prior year. Revenue for the period climbed 19% to A$7.6 billion. A 26% rise in average realised gold prices drove the earnings growth, offsetting a slight decrease in gold sales.

The company increased its fully franked final dividend to 30 cents per share. This payment brings the total full-year dividend to 55 cents per share. Northern Star maintains a strong balance sheet with A$1.2 billion in cash and bullion.

Commissioning has commenced at the KCGM Mill Expansion project. Management expects this expansion to significantly boost future cash flow.
