Nutanix (NTNX) shares fell 6.7% on May 20. The company completed a private sale of over 4.1 million Class A shares to Advanced Micro Devices (AMD). AMD purchased the shares at a price of $36.26 each. The transaction generated $150 million in gross proceeds. Investors cited concerns regarding share dilution and valuation overhang due to the discounted sale price.
Dell Technologies separately announced that Dell Private Cloud will expand to support Nutanix AHV. This update includes integration with Dell PowerStore. The collaboration is scheduled to launch in July 2026.
