Natera presented new data for its Signatera molecular residual disease (MRD) test at the IASLC 2026 World Conference on Lung Cancer. The study analyzed over 1,100 patients with resected non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). This research represents the largest-ever MRD study conducted in lung cancer.
A positive Signatera test after surgery predicted a fivefold increase in the risk of cancer recurrence or death. Signatera-negative patients showed a 25% higher absolute three-year recurrence-free survival rate. These findings remained consistent across all patient subgroups, supporting the test's use in post-surgical management.
