Natera published data in the journal Blood Neoplasia validating its Signatera molecular residual disease (MRD) test for lymphoma. The study evaluated 144 patients across 14 different lymphoma subtypes.
Findings show Signatera possesses superior prognostic ability compared to standard-of-care PET/CT scans. The test demonstrated a 100% positive predictive value for treatment response assessment. Signatera also detected cancer recurrence months earlier than traditional imaging.
This publication supports recently updated NCCN guidelines. These guidelines now include ctDNA-based MRD assessment as a confirmatory method for positive PET/CT scans in lymphoma.
