Nvidia and Corning are launching a multiyear partnership to expand US manufacturing of advanced optical connectivity.
The collaboration includes building three new manufacturing facilities in North Carolina and Texas. This expansion is expected to create more than 3,000 jobs.
The project will increase Corning’s US-based optical connectivity capacity by 10 times. It will also expand the company's US fiber production by over 50%.
The scale-up addresses surging demand for high-performance components used to connect thousands of GPUs in AI data centers and AI factories.
