Nvidia is partnering with geothermal developer Fervo Energy and the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) to enhance geothermal energy production.
The collaboration will develop EGS-Twin, a digital twin platform designed to simulate and optimize underground reservoirs in real-time. This project integrates Fervo’s operational data with Nvidia’s accelerated computing and Omniverse platform.
The initiative aims to improve drilling success, increase power output, and reduce operational risks for carbon-free energy. The partnership seeks to provide a reliable power source for the increasing energy demands of AI and data centers.
