Nvidia is launching NVPAC, an employee-funded political action committee, to expand its influence on U.S. policy. This move formalizes the company’s political engagement as it faces increased government scrutiny over artificial intelligence and chip export controls.
Nvidia employees will provide the primary funding through personal donations. This strategy aligns Nvidia with tech peers like Meta and Alphabet’s Google, which maintain similar committees to support candidates.
The company has not yet disclosed specific policy areas or candidates NVPAC will support.
