NVIDIA partnered with Swedish autonomous truck manufacturer Einride to scale its self-driving fleet. NVIDIA will supply the compute platform and artificial intelligence development tools for Einride's autonomous driving systems. The collaboration will utilize NVIDIA's DRIVE Hyperion platform, designed for Level 4 autonomy.
Einride currently operates hundreds of electric trucks. It anticipates expanding its fleet to between 1,500 and 2,000 vehicles by 2028. This expansion aims to meet rising customer demand.
The partnership aims to accelerate Einride's transition to fully autonomous freight operations. This will enhance efficiency and safety in the logistics industry.
