NVIDIA-backed Firmus and Singapore-based DayOne are developing a large-scale AI data center campus in Batam, Indonesia. The partnership with NVIDIA spans an eight-year period to build a 360-megawatt AI Factory.
Firmus plans to procure up to 170,000 NVIDIA AI GPUs through 2028. This initiative positions the campus as one of the largest AI infrastructure projects in the Asia-Pacific region.
Customer agreements are projected to generate between $25 billion and $30 billion in revenue. These financial targets are expected to be reached within the first six years of operation.
Firmus will sell NVIDIA-powered cloud services as part of the agreement. NVIDIA will receive standard product revenue and a share of the resulting cloud service earnings.
The project capitalizes on the rapid growth of the data center sector across Southeast Asia.
