NVIDIA’s next-generation Vera Rubin AI platform could more than double profit per gigawatt compared to the Blackwell architecture. A SemiAnalysis report indicates the platform significantly improves AI inference economics. This efficiency addresses growing power constraints within global AI infrastructure.
The Rubin NVL72 model is projected to generate 39% more annual revenue than the top-tier GB300 setup. It is also expected to produce 42% more profit per gigawatt. These gains stem from the integrated design of NVIDIA's GPU, CPU, and networking components.
NVIDIA shares rose 0.7% in Wednesday premarket trading following the analysis. The Vera Rubin platform was first announced in March. Products are expected to be available through partners in the second half of 2026.
