Novo Nordisk and Fangzhou Inc. launched the diabetes treatment Kyinsu® in China. This release marks the product's global commercial debut.
Kyinsu® is the world’s first once-weekly combination therapy for adults with type 2 diabetes. The single injection combines basal insulin icodec with the GLP-1 receptor agonist semaglutide.
China is the first market to offer the treatment. The therapy reduces daily injection burdens to improve patient adherence.
Fangzhou’s AI-driven digital healthcare platform will accelerate patient access. China has an estimated 148 million adults living with diabetes.
