Ora Banda Mining awarded a A$233 million engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract to GR Engineering Services.
The agreement covers a new 3.0 million tonnes per annum (Mtpa) process plant at the Davyhurst Gold Project in Western Australia.
This facility serves as the centerpiece of the company’s A$375 million DRIVE to 300 expansion strategy.
The new plant will operate alongside the existing 1.2 Mtpa facility to increase total site capacity.
Construction is scheduled to begin in the first quarter of fiscal year 2027.
The company expects commissioning to occur in the third quarter of fiscal year 2028.
GR Engineering moves into the formal role after being named the preferred contractor in May.
