Shares of Oklo (OKLO), NuScale Power (SMR), and Nano Nuclear Energy (NNE) traded higher on Friday. EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin identified small modular reactors (SMRs) as a core component of the Trump administration's U.S. energy dominance strategy.

Zeldin’s Fox Business interview reinforced investor expectations for sustained government support. Oklo shares rose approximately 2%, while NuScale Power increased by about 5%.

The comments follow a presidential executive order issued last month to overhaul the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC). This mandate seeks to streamline licensing and accelerate development to significantly increase U.S. nuclear capacity by 2050.
