Ondas Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: ONDS) appointed former Mossad Director David Barnea as Global President and Chairman of its defense division, Ondas Defense Ltd. Barnea led Israel’s national intelligence agency from 2021 through June 2026.
The appointment supports Ondas’ strategy to build an integrated, AI-enabled defense technology platform. Barnea will oversee global expansion, strategic technology development, and relationships with international government and defense organizations.
His initial focus includes markets in the Middle East, Europe, and Asia where government investment in autonomous defense systems is increasing. This leadership move follows Ondas’ recent acquisitions of defense technology companies across the U.S., Israel, and Europe.
