Oracle secured a $16 billion financing package for a massive data center campus in Saline Township, Michigan. The facility is purpose-built to power applications for OpenAI.

Data center developer Related Digital arranged the funding. Blackstone provided equity for the project, while PIMCO-managed accounts anchored the long-term, fixed-rate debt. Bank of America led the structuring of the deal.

The 1-gigawatt campus supports Oracle’s strategy to expand cloud infrastructure and compete in the AI sector. This project underscores the massive capital and energy investments required for advanced AI model development. The deal follows several other multi-billion dollar financing efforts for Oracle data centers across the U.S.
