This financial support is linked to David Ellison’s efforts to build a media conglomerate through Paramount Skydance.
The U.S. Justice Department’s Antitrust Division approved Paramount’s $111 billion acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD).
This regulatory approval was granted in June 2026.
