Blue Owl Capital completed the £1.3 billion acquisition of 12 private acute-care hospitals in the United Kingdom. The firm purchased the portfolio from Malaysia’s Employees Provident Fund (EPF). This transaction marks a significant expansion of Blue Owl’s European healthcare real estate strategy.

The investment was executed through the firm’s European Net Lease fund. Spire Healthcare, the leading private hospital operator in the UK, manages the facilities under long-term leases. This structure provides investors with stable, inflation-linked returns.

The deal represents one of the largest European healthcare real estate transactions this year. It follows rising demand for private medical services across the UK. Moor Park Capital Partners will serve as the asset manager for the properties.
