Shareholders of Emmerson Resources Ltd overwhelmingly approved the acquisition by Pan African Resources PLC on June 15, 2026. Over 90% of votes cast supported the all-share transaction.
Pan African will acquire 100% of Emmerson's shares to consolidate its position in Australia's Tennant Creek mineral field. The deal remains subject to a final court hearing scheduled for June 19, 2026.
Following the acquisition, Pan African plans a secondary listing on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX). This move will not affect the company's primary listings in London and Johannesburg.
