PowerBank Corporation acquired the Gainesville and Highway 28 solar projects in New York through its subsidiary, Abundant Solar Power Inc.
The projects hold an estimated combined construction value of $32.5 million. PowerBank expects to receive $13 million in U.S. federal tax credits related to these assets.
The Highway 28 project will provide 6.9 megawatts of capacity. It is scheduled to be construction-ready in the third quarter of 2026.
The site has already secured its interconnection agreement and all major discretionary permits. This acquisition expands PowerBank's renewable energy footprint in North America.
