Petrobras signed contracts with SBM Offshore on May 29, 2026.

The agreement secures the construction of two floating production, storage, and offloading units (FPSOs).

Total investment for these projects is expected to exceed R$60 billion.

These units are designated for the Sergipe Águas Profundas (SEAP) project.

The expansion establishes new offshore hubs to increase Brazil's deepwater production capacity.
