Palantir Technologies (PLTR) will serve a foundational role in the U.S. Army's Next Generation Command and Control (NGC2) program. This initiative represents one of the service's highest modernization priorities.

The Army selected the Foundry platform to serve as the cloud data layer for the system's common data baseline. This decision follows extensive prototyping and field validation phases with soldiers.

The NGC2 program establishes a common data architecture to enable interoperability and AI-driven capabilities. Palantir will collaborate with Anduril Industries, which leads the common data baseline and provides the tactical data layer.

The established baseline will scale across the Army as the program transitions from prototype to full deployment.
