Plug Power shares fell sharply as the company approaches a deadline for a major asset sale.

The company expects to close the sale of its Graham, Texas, project to Stream Data Centers on or around July 31, 2026.

This transaction will provide an initial payment of $50 million.

The sale supports a broader strategy to improve liquidity by more than $275 million through asset monetization.

Investor anxiety remains high as the deal faces customary closing conditions ahead of the Friday deadline.
