PMET Resources Inc. signed a non-binding Letter of Intent (LOI) with the Cree Nation of Chisasibi. The agreement concerns the 100%-owned Shaakichiuwaanaan Project located in Quebec's Eeyou Istchee James Bay region.
The LOI establishes a structured framework for engagement and information-sharing during the review and permitting stages. Both parties will discuss potential project impacts, mitigation measures, and community benefits.
This agreement formalizes the process for training and employment initiatives without constituting a project endorsement. Cree members currently represent approximately 25% of the site's 2025 workforce.
