PayPal and Venmo now support college tuition and fee payments for students and families. The service integrates with three major education platforms: Illumia, Nelnet Campus Commerce, and TouchNet. These providers collectively serve thousands of U.S. colleges and universities.
Michigan State University, Kansas State University, and Texas Tech University have already implemented the feature. Additional institutions are expected to join the rollout in the future.
This expansion follows PayPal’s 2025 agreements with the Big Ten and Big 12 conferences. Those partnerships facilitate institutional payments to student-athletes. Users can fund tuition through linked bank accounts, credit cards, or existing platform balances.
