Courts in Taiwan and China rejected legal challenges from a Qnity Electronics affiliate. The rulings on July 14 and August 10, 2026, upheld Entegris’s chemical mechanical planarization (CMP) slurry patents.

These decisions reinforce a 2021 U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) ruling. The ITC found that Qnity’s Optiplane CMP slurry products infringed on Entegris patents.

Federal orders prohibit the importation, marketing, and sale of the infringing products in the United States. These U.S. market restrictions remain in effect until 2035.
