Ferrari announced the 12Cilindri Manuale, a limited-edition V12 grand tourer with a manual gearbox. The model targets traditionalist fans and collectors. It features a manual transmission, absent from Ferrari's V12 models for nearly two decades. The launch follows a mixed reception for the company's first all-electric car, the Luce. It reinforces the brand's commitment to its combustion engine heritage.
Production is limited to 1,499 units. The starting price in Italy is €590,000. A naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine powers the vehicle, delivering 830 horsepower.
The car uses a new "Manuale by-wire" system. This system pairs a traditional-feeling gated shifter and clutch pedal with the car's modern dual-clutch transmission. It does not use a purely mechanical linkage. Deliveries will begin in the first quarter of the following year.
