Roblox announced CubePart, a generative AI framework that creates part-controllable 3D models from text prompts.

The tool generates assets with distinct, functional parts, such as rotating wheels and opening doors. These models integrate directly with Roblox Studio workflows, including animation, physics, and scripting.

Roblox published its CubePart research and updated its open-source repository. The company plans to present these findings at SIGGRAPH later this year.

The technology is not yet available to creators but will integrate into Roblox Studio soon.

Roblox shareholders approved all proposals at the annual stockholders' meeting. Approved measures include the election of directors and the ratification of the company's public accounting firm.

Roblox also released new developer tools for community engagement, including polls and analytics.
