Activist investor ValueAct Capital significantly reduced its position in Roblox (RBLX) during the second quarter of 2026, selling 2.7 million shares to lower its stake by 46%. The firm's holdings dropped from 5.85 million shares to 3.15 million. According to a quarterly 13F disclosure filed on August 14, 2026, this activity reflects trades made between April 1 and June 30. The reported value of ValueAct's position fell from $330.80 million to $171.16 million.

During the quarter, Roblox reported a 36% year-over-year revenue increase but also noted that bookings growth was at the low end of guidance. The company attributed a shortfall in its internal expectations to weaker monetization among younger users. Earlier in the year, Roblox had lowered its full-year bookings forecast, citing the impact of new safety features. This sale by ValueAct follows a previous reduction in its Roblox holdings during the first quarter of 2025.
