Rocket Lab previously secured a $515 million contract for the agency's Transport Layer.

Total contracts with the Space Development Agency now exceed $1.3 billion.

The satellites utilize the company’s Lightning platform and vertically integrated infrared sensors.

Rocket Lab will also provide the control software for the constellation.
