Rocket Lab (RKLB) signed a new multi-launch contract with Japanese Earth-imaging company Institute for Q-shu Pioneers of Space, Inc. (iQPS). The deal covers three dedicated missions. These missions will use Rocket Lab's Electron rocket. This marks the third multi-launch agreement between the companies in under a year. iQPS has now booked 18 total launches with Rocket Lab.
Missions will launch from Rocket Lab's New Zealand complex. The first mission is scheduled for late 2027. Each launch will carry a single QPS-SAR satellite. This expands iQPS's high-resolution radar imagery constellation. Rocket Lab deployed seven satellites for iQPS since 2023. Rocket Lab will also supply satellite separation systems for these upcoming missions.
