In its second-quarter 13F filing, activist investor ValueAct Capital reported a portfolio of $5.63 billion, with its top holdings concentrated in Visa, Amazon, Rocket Companies, BlackRock, and Meta Platforms. The filing, which reflects holdings as of June 30, 2026, shows the firm's continued long-term, concentrated investment strategy. ValueAct is known for taking significant stakes in companies it believes are undervalued and working with management to unlock value.
The most significant change during the quarter was a substantial increase in its position in Rocket Companies (RKT), adding over 13.4 million shares to make it the third-largest holding with an 11.65% portfolio weight. The firm also more than quadrupled its stake in real estate firm CBRE Group and established a new, smaller position in PayPay Corp. Other notable additions included increases in its Spotify and Amazon holdings.
Conversely, ValueAct made several high-conviction sales. The firm completely exited its position in The Walt Disney Co. (DIS). It also drastically reduced its stakes in several technology and media companies, cutting its holding in database company MongoDB (MDB) by 84% and more than halving its stake in Roblox (RBLX). Additionally, significant reductions were made in its Liberty Live (LLYVA, LLYVK) and Live Nation (LYV) positions.
