Hermès opened its new London Maison at 166 New Bond Street, a prestigious Mayfair address. The flagship store occupies six historically listed Georgian townhouses. It spans nearly 2,000 square meters across five levels.
The project, developed over several years, features 55 individual rooms. These rooms aim to create an immersive customer experience, showcasing the brand's craft specialities. The architecture preserves historical elements, including a spiral staircase from a previous Foster + Partners renovation. It also integrates contemporary design. The opening reinforces London's strategic importance to the French luxury house. It aligns with the brand's strategy to invest in expansive, experience-focused retail locations in top luxury markets.
