Renault Group secured a legal victory as the High Court of Justice in London rejected all claims in a long-running diesel emissions lawsuit.
The court ruled in favor of the automaker following a trial involving extensive expert reports, witness statements, and legal submissions.
Renault maintained its position that all vehicles complied with applicable regulatory requirements throughout the multi-year proceedings.
The company now intends to recover its legal costs from the institutional insurers and hedge funds that financed the litigation.
