Roche subsidiary Genentech is investing approximately $750 million in its Hillsboro, Oregon campus. The funds will build a new device fill-finish manufacturing facility.

The expansion will double the size of the existing site. The facility will produce advanced drug delivery devices such as pre-filled syringes and autoinjectors.

The project is expected to create 250 new manufacturing jobs. This investment enhances Genentech’s end-to-end drug manufacturing capabilities within the United States.

Commercial operations at the new facility are scheduled to begin in 2031.
