RTX’s Raytheon division is expanding European production for Stinger missiles through a partnership with Diehl Defence. This collaboration aims to double current production levels. Final assembly and testing for the Stinger system will take place in the Netherlands.
RTX is also conducting feasibility studies with NATO partners to qualify new European suppliers for AMRAAM missile components. Participating allied nations are funding the initiative to increase production capacity and accelerate delivery schedules.
The expansion seeks to enhance the resilience of the transatlantic defense industrial base. These efforts address urgent air defense requirements for both U.S. and allied forces.
