RTX’s Raytheon UK business leads the Omnia Training consortium in securing a £2 billion ($2.68 billion) contract from the UK Ministry of Defence. This 15-year agreement establishes the Army’s Collective Training Service to modernize preparation for future battlefield complexities. The partnership includes Capita, Cervus, Rheinmetall UK, and Skyral.
The program integrates live exercises with virtual and synthetic environments. It utilizes AI and advanced analytics to create immersive training scenarios. The system will train up to 60,000 soldiers annually at any time or location.
The contract will create 270 new highly skilled jobs across the UK. It also sustains 150 existing positions.
