Saab signed a SEK 1.2 billion contract with the Finnish Defence Forces for the RBS 70 NG air defence system. The initial order includes training, maintenance equipment, and provisions for potential future system purchases. Finland has utilized the previous RBS 70 model since 2008.
In a separate milestone, the Gripen F fighter aircraft successfully completed its first flight. The two-seat variant of the Gripen E flew for 40 minutes at Saab’s airfield in Linköping, Sweden. Saab developed the aircraft in partnership with Brazilian industry.
