State Bank of India (SBI) will finance LNK Energy’s new solar gigafactory in Maharashtra’s Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar district.

This deal represents the first major investment for LNK Energy since its establishment in early 2026. The company maintains a five-year plan to invest INR 100 billion into renewable energy projects.

The facility will manufacture solar cells, modules, and integrated ingots and wafers. Future production lines will include junction boxes and battery platforms.

SBI and LNK Energy have not disclosed specific financial terms of the funding arrangement.
