State Bank of India (SBI) shares fell over 1.5% on July 14, 2026. The decline coincided with the public subscription opening for the SBI Funds Management IPO. SBI is selling a portion of its stake in the asset management joint venture with Amundi through an offer for sale. The listing aims to unlock significant value for the parent bank. Concurrently, SBI raised $200 million by tapping an existing bond issue to fund overseas operations.
