AB SKF’s Board of Directors formally proposed the distribution and separate listing of its automotive business, SKF Vertevo. The board scheduled an Extraordinary General Meeting for October 1, 2026, to seek shareholder approval for the plan.

SKF plans to list the new entity on Nasdaq Stockholm on December 1, 2026. The listing remains subject to both shareholder and regulatory approvals.

Management expects the creation of two distinct companies to unlock value through sharpened strategic focus and improved capital allocation. Operational separation of the automotive business is already complete.
